Monroe County Meals on Wheels, Inc.

Monroe County Meals on Wheels provides superior nutritional support, a daily human connection, and other supportive services to the homebound so they may remain safe and independent in their homes. 

We are a 501(c)3 Pennsylvania corporation.

We provide home-delivered meals to clients who are homebound, whether due to advanced age or due to mental/physical challenges.  This service is available both long-and short-term. 

Our volunteers deliver the meals Monday through Friday, usually starting at around 10 AM.  We deliver frozen meals once a week and we have daily routes delivering a Hot meal and Bag lunch. Routes typically take 1-2 hours to deliver; we have routes available throughout Monroe County. 

Additionally, volunteers deliver pet food; informational materials; and birthday and holiday gifts.  Volunteers can also participate in our calling program to check-in on clients to ensure they are doing well and to provide some socialization. 

We also provide case management for those who need assistance coordinating other services and provide emergency meals.
