Who We Are
We are a community of diverse people committed to the proposition that everyone - no matter how broken, irrespective of their background, regardless of their history - deserves love, respect, and comebacks. We help our neighbors overcome trauma, addiction, history with the criminal justice system, and mental health challenges so they can re-enter their community and thrive. NorthBound serves individuals affected by trauma (veterans and civilians), substance use disorders, mental health challenges, criminal history, or a combination of these challenges. Many of our clients are financially disadvantaged, lack insurance, need transportation, and are seeking help in an understanding and supportive environment.
What We Do
We are a community resource that provides peer-based, support services and education to our neighbors. At our Community Recovery Center one can find community education events, sober social events, 12-step meetings, yoga, artistic wellness class, trauma support groups, military support groups and, when necessary, guidance and assistance in connecting someone to community resources, and so much more. We provide all of our services and programming for free at the Center.
