Opportunities From: Pocono Mountains United Way

We will have a Home Preservation Project on that date to help repair a client's home. Volunteers will help by assisting builders with minor repairs, cleaning the worksite, and other tasks. Participants do not need any specific skills to participate and can learn skills on the job.

Exact location for the home repair will be determined shortly before the event.

*Please bring work gloves and wear comfortable shoes/boots to work in. Volunteers under 18 must have an adult present to volunteer.

To participate, volunteer must fill out and email attached volunteer waiver:*

**Teams must have a completed waiver form for each volunteer participating in the event.

The Monroe County ReStore is now OPEN and we need your help! Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization with the model of neighbors helping neighbors.

Donated items at the ReStore are offered for sale back to the community, with proceeds going towards our home preservation program, where we make much-needed home repairs for those in need. 

Volunteer tasks at the ReStore include the following. You may choose one specific task you'd like to assist with or help out with whatever is needed!

Cleaning shelving  Cleaning and preparing furniture items for sale  Unboxing merchandise/pricing/stocking  Processing donations such as tools, hardware etc. (Processing includes a quick wipe down/clean up, possible bagging and pricing)General customer service & salesDonation pick-ups and drop off assistance

We always have ongoing activities to keep your neighbors in safe & decent homes!

Volunteer in our Warehouse organization in Tobyhanna every Tues. from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
