Volunteer: Hotline Crisis Counselor VolunteerWhen someone has experienced domestic or sexual abuse, they seek advice in a confidential setting with trained professionals. At Safe Monroe, we offer help through a 24-Hour, 7 days a week, hotline service. Hotline crisis counselor Volunteers (and staff) are available for our hotline and are fully trained through a 70-hour Counselor Advocate Training Course. The training curriculum is endorsed by the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) and Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) sanctioned through the Safe Monroe organizational leadership.
