Opportunities From: Pocono Mountains United Way

We are seeking volunteers to help organize a garage that serves as a storage area for donated community resources. The space contains a large quantity of summer and winter clothing donations, as well as hygiene products, that need to be sorted, organized, and stored efficiently.

Volunteer tasks will include:

Building and assembling storage shelving unitsSorting clothing and hygiene product donations by category and seasonPlacing items on shelves in an organized and accessible mannerLabeling shelves and storage areas for easy identificationCreating an inventory sheet to track available donations and improve future distribution efforts

This project will help create a safe, organized, and functional storage system, allowing donated items to be managed more effectively and distributed to community members in need. Volunteers will make a meaningful impact by improving our ability to serve individuals and families throughout the year.

Street 2 Feet is the only homeless Day Center in Monroe County. Our vision is to assist homeless individuals in becoming self-sufficient members of the community.
