The Garden of Giving

Founded in 2008, The Garden of Giving is a 3.5 acre plot located adjacent to Route 715 in McMichaels, Pennsylvania. The Garden produces high-yield vegetables and provides the produce to local food banks and food pantries. We work through the efforts of volunteers from the local community to help grow and cultivate fresh, nutritious produce.

The Garden of Giving currently serves several food banks and soup kitchens in Monroe County, which, in turn, serve the surrounding communities with food staples and essentials. However, they have limited budgets and access to essential and healthy produce. We fill this need by providing blueberries, raspberries, corn, tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, asparagus and many other fresh vegetables. In addition, we provide eggs, which are collected daily.
